Nokia is promising that its new 3G mobile phone will be an affordable one.
The
Nokia
6151 is being billed by the company as a phone that will bring "3G for
Everyone". It is expected to sell for €240 (£165) when it goes on sale in the
latter half of 2006.
The phone eschews video calling, one of the major selling points of 3G, in
favour of offering users fast data connections for quick internet access and
fast services. It does come with a 1.3-megapixel camera, however, as well as
Bluetooth access, and a music player with FM radio.
Nokia says the phone will have a talk time of over four hours, or can last
for up to 10 days in standby mode. It's also available in several colours.
