WatchMouse has launched a free Site Monitor that aims to give PC users an
insight into the availability of their web site at all times.
The
Site
Monitor, which can be downloaded free, checks a web site at intervals which
be fixed at five, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. If an error is found, users are alerted
and the error verified by the WatchMouse monitoring stations.
The availability of the site in the last 72 hours is also shown in a
performance chart.
The Site Monitor can also be combined with a free
WatchMouse
account which gives users added extras, such as the opportunity to have their
site monitored by WatchMouse checkpoints worldwide.
In order to qualify for the WatchMouse account, users must agree to place a
small uptime banner on the sites that are monitored.
