Internet telephony provider Skype has acquired voice over IP firm Sonorit
Holding AS and its US subsidiary Camino Networks.
The acquisition will cost Skype $27m and enables the firm to add "experts in
online voice engineering" to its current staff.
Niklas Zennstrom, chief executive at Skype, said: "We're excited about
bringing the talented Camino Networks team to Skype. They will add considerable
expertise to our own world-class technology team."
Jonathan Christensen, chief executive of Camino Networks, said: "Camino
