Infor reviews VAR line-up

Enterprise software vendor Infor is set for a channel re-jig as it announces the launch of its channel recruitment and review programme across EMEA.

The vendor plans to review relationships with partners that are competing across certain territories and to recruit at least 40 new ones.

Infor is looking for both resellers and system integrators to drive sales of its enterprise software, including its ERP, supply chain management and warehouse management portfolio.

Jean Philippe Pommel, vice president EMEA channels and alliances of Infor, said: “Infor does not have tonnes of partners as it does not want them to compete. Some partners will be terminated and some just need energising.

“Partners will be recruited across territories, such as the Nordics, where we noticed we were lacking some. Some partners will be exclusive to their territory.”

The campaign will comprise a series of road shows taking place from September following the vendor’s annual EMEA partner conference in Marbella.

“The road show will tour 12-15 cities to show companies what they can get from partnering with Infor,” added Pommel.
