Former Sun Microsystems sales manager, Tim Pitcher, has been appointed sales manager for Network Appliance Inc, a data access appliance provider.
In his new position, Pitcher will be responsible for maintaining the company's year-on-year growth in the UK and helping it meet its revenue target of £20 million by the financial year 2000.
Prior to his five years spent as sales manager for the retail finance division at Sun, Pitcher also worked for Morse Computers and Hewlett-Packard.
Network Appliance MD, Steve Ronksley, commented: "Tim has an excellent track record and, with his sales skills, will play a major part in continuing our strong growth in the UK."
