Computer support company Response has promoted Richard Palmer to the newly-created position of national sales support manager.
Palmer has been with Response since he joined as a sales executive in 1994 to establish the company's drop-in PC repair service.
Based at the company's Basildon branch, Palmer will be responsible for increasing sales productivity by providing ongoing direction, resources, motivation and incentives to every Response salesperson nationwide. He will also develop a new structured framework and training programme for sales teams and implement a sales intranet to keep staff up to date on company services.
Theresa Grove has also joined Response Computer Maintenance as marketing manager from industrial printer manufacturer Alpha Dot. She will be responsible for establishing a new marketing department at Response's Basingstoke branch, appointing support staff and overseeing all aspects of the marketing mix.
