The UK sales manager and director of QAS Systems were both promoted last month, as the international address systems company builds on a 40 percent year-on-year growth.

Harry Meikle, former UK sales manager, became group sales and marketing director, while UK sales manager, Barney Craggs, was appointed UK sales director.

In his new role, Meikle is to spearhead QAS' global expansion, specifically in Australia, where the company was the first to be chosen to resell the Australian Postal Address File by Futurepost.

Craggs, who, along with Meikle, joined QAS in 1992 as a sales executive, is to concentrate on building on the company's success in the UK market.
