Interwoven will today announce plans to move into managing mobile content.
The enterprise content management firm will announce partnerships with
Ericsson, RIM and a series of other vendors in authoring, localisation, search
and integration. The aim is to ensure that customers have a consistent view of
content across all service channels.
The most eye-catching partner is RIM, in an alliance that will see Interwoven
develop a mobile version of its WorkSite ECM product for the BlackBerry.
“Everybody is looking to multi-channel publishing so it’s a question of how
you deliver a consistent customer experience,” said Eben Miller, senior director
of product marketing at Interwoven.
