Adobe has released a beta version of its free, web-based Photoshop.
Photoshop
Express gives users 2GB of storage space along with the ability to
manipulate images using standard Adobe tools. The move is seen by many as
Adobe's attempt to wrestle business away from other free online systems like
Google's Picasa.
Based on Flex, Adobe's own cross platform multimedia tool, the beta lets
users upload images and galleries to their own sites, blogs, or social
networking sites such as Facebook.
The beta is live now with example galleries and images, but as yet only US
users can sign up to it.
