This instalment of the Batman series sees the Caped Crusader and his trusty sidekick ridding Gotham City of some explosive Faberge eggs.
To progress through the adventure, several tasks need to be completed. These are generally based on sequencing and logic. The tasks are far from easy and should provide a fair challenge to the 7-10 age range. Unlike the Scooby Doo casebook package, though, we think the difficulty and age range are well matched here.
The characterisation is excellent and the dialogue is edgy and fast paced. The adventure is based around the more recent, and familiar, animated series (rather than the original and somewhat camp 60's-era Batman show).
The real bonus with this package is the inclusion of an excellent, fully narrated Help section, which is available at all times from a easy-to-use menu at the bottom of the screen.
The interface is a little sparse and disparate and often needs exploring to find out where the next challenge is, but this is unlikely to deter your average 10-year-old.
