A former production assistant for Lucasfilm has been accused of bootlegging a copy of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and circulating it over the internet.
Shea O'Brien Foley has been accused of stealing aspects of the latest Star Wars trilogy film before its release, including CD-Rom discs containing sound effects, storyboard images, the film's score, and digital images and video files associated with the film.
According to the Marin Independent Journal newspaper, Foley hoarded stolen materials in his California townhouse.
Foley is being charged with four counts of unlawful access to a computer and nine counts of grand theft. He is being held at the Los Angeles County Jail on $200,000 bail, according to Marin County's deputy district attorney.
